What are Marbles Gladstone Knives?
Marble’s Ideal Hunting Knife initially became available and manufactured in Gladstone, Michigan in 1899. It was one of the earliest knives that were developed to be used specifically by American hunters, and it has been used by a multitude of people throughout the years. There have been whispers that Teddy Roosevelt had an admiration for Marble’s knives.

Blade 4-3/4”; 7-1/4” total length. 1932-1950 MARBLES IDEAL HUNTING KNIFE WITH STACKED LEATHER HANDLE – Full Guard . Probably not the original SHEATH, but a very nice one nonetheless; No issues; fits well.
Genuine 1940’s MARBLE’S Gladstone, Mich. USA Fixed Blade IDEAL Hunting Knife with added leather sheath as shown in our photos. The blade is clearly stamped and the stacked leather handle along with the brass finger guard is in fairly good condition. May want to do a little clean up before adding it to your collection.

This is a beautiful full bladed antique Marble’s/bowie knife. It has the older 2 line Marbles stamp. Blade is 1 1/4″ at its widest spot. Blade has been used and sharpened. Has a full brass guard that is slightly bent on one side.
